Located on the Asian continent, bordered by the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, and the Bay of Bengal, the country is divided into 29 states and seven federal territories. Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bhutan, and Nepal form India's neighbors.

India is a country of diversity. Each province of the country has several communities that live in harmony with each other, maintaining and nurturing their own unique cultures and traditions. From the Indian capital Delhi to the southernmost state of Tamil Nadu, the country is blessed with stunning scenery. As India grows, Indian architecture continues to diversify and continue to return to its roots while maintaining current trends. India is also classified by the Dravidian and Nagara architectural styles as a focal point of Hindu architecture. The Dravidian style flourished in the empires of South India, while the Nagara style became dominant in northern India.India's history, culture and religion are rooted in its architecture.
